This Old Ale conjures up thoughts of classic sea fairing ports, there local pubs and the weathered fisherman that frequent them. In the traditional style Curmudgeon is brewed with an intense focus on the malt bill creating a very strong, rich, malty characteristic and a sweetness indicative of its cousin the barleywine. The balance in this beer makes it deceptively smooth and drinkable for the strength.

Domaine DuPage – French Style Ale (Two Brothers – Warrenville, IL) 5.9%

This French-style country ale is deep amber in color.  With a toasty, sweet caramel start, it finishes with just enough hops to clean off the palate.  Bon Appetite!

This is an Imperial IPA that was brewed to turn your world upside down.  Hops have got you coming and going. Pungent aromatics up front paired with a malt balance backbone and a smooth bitter finish. With 86 IBUs this is for the hop forward drinker.

Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty.  This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days.  The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character.  Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a king.

SawtoothEnglish-Style Extra Special Bitter (Nitro) (Lefthand – Longmont, CO) 5.3%

This ESB is extremely well balanced with significant hop character, a medium body and a maltiness which increases as the beer warms to its proper drinking temperature. The water used is quite hard, bringing it to near Burton on Trent levels, where the style originated in Europe. This gives it the appropriate character and improves the malt extract significant.

Smithwick’s – Irish Ale (Ireland) 4.5%

Ireland’s number one ale. Its exceptional taste, distinctive color and purity of ingredients make it unique. Its rich, satisfying taste has earned it five gold medals in the famous Monde Selection Beer Tasting Competition.
